Hell Or High Watermelon 21st Amendment Brewery Review By Z.P

Hell or High Watermelon
21st Amendment
ABV – 4.9
Appearance – Slightly hazy very yellow.
Smell – Smell yeasty.
Taste – This taste like creamy watermelon. That is it all the way trough.
Mouthfeel – Creamy.
Drinkability – It goes down easy.
Closing Notes – If you like watermelon, I would say try this. I would drink it again because it is vastly different from most beers. It isn’t unpleasant, just kind of hard to adjust to. It is certainly unique.
Overall – 3.0

Hoegaarden Secondary Review by D.P.

Hoegaarden Witbier
ABV – 4.9%
Appearance – Very light straw color,  attractive, zillions of tiny bubbles clinging to the inside of the glass.
Smell – Smells yummy,  yeasty, like expensive candy.
Taste – Delicious,  nice tanginess with hints of spice and citrus undertones.
Mouthfeel – Exquisite.
Drinkability – I highly recommend it.
Notes – I shall fashion a breastplate from ladybug wings and forge a broadsword from 20,000 discarded bottle caps.  I will live in a castle built exclusively of shark teeth and my domain shall be populated by elven folk, beautiful naiads, and mythical creatures.  My faithful steed shall be a triceratops cloned from ancient DNA. Visiting lords shall ache to be seen in my presence and they shall supply me with great casks of Hoegaarden which I shall drink from a chalice made from the petrified egg of a pterosaur and which shall quell the thirst of my countrymen.  I shall decree this the beer of choice and none shall question my judgement.
My call – 5.0

Abita Satsuma Harvest Wit Review by Z.P.

Satsuma Harvest Wit
ABV – 5.1%
Appearance – Cloudy golden color.
Smell –  Spices and wheat smells. Little banana.
Taste – Initially I get some of the coriander, followed by a very mellow wheat taste and a really pleasant orange finish. The aftertaste is a lingering citrus. Very nice.
Mouthfeel – Creamy.
Drinkability – I could probably drink this beer all day long.
Closing Notes – I love a nice unfiltered wheat beer. This beer is very pleasant and goes down super smooth. Abita makes a fine summer brew.  Next time I go golfing I am bringing this with me.
Overall – 4.5

Aventinus Weizen Review by Z.P.

Schneider & Sohn
ABV – 8.2%
Appearance – Very cloudy brown, the color is a turnoff….
Smell – Alcohol and red fruits.
Taste – Alcohol, then something like pine trees, followed by an EXCRUCIATINGLY bad aftertaste that just doesn’t seem to quit.
Mouthfeel – Oily
Drinkability – I drank like 3 swigs and was done with it.
Closing Notes – I have nothing to say other than I did not enjoy this AT ALL. It almost made me sick to drink it.
